One More Marker

General Quest

NOTE: While this is a solo quest, I would recommend that you bring along a friend or two, since the NPCs that aid you are not so tough. Brasse, a level 37 Guardian, and myself, a level 38 Hunter, did fine in this battle.

STEPS:

1) Find the solution to the riddle. The marker reads:

"On the western shore of mighty Lake Nenial, Stone paths run to the water from a flat clearing."

This sounds like you're going to need to do some swimming. Get to the other side of the shore, and head about halfway down. There are a number of stone paths that lead into the river, but the one you want is at: (9.6s, 72.7w).

From here, head northwest up the hill. As you approach the flat clearing, you'll notice a number of tomb-robbers hovering around the last Stone Marker. To be specific, there are 5 Hardened Tomb-robbers (level 38-39) and one Master Tomb-robber (level 40). Luckily, you'll have some help, and you should be able to hear their whining from some distance:

Sullen Treasure-hunter says: "Can we get someone to help out?"
Sullen Treasure-hunter says: "It's not fair! We found it first!"
Sullen Treasure-hunter says: "They look pretty tough. I don't think we can take them."
Sullen Treasure-hunter says: "There's got to be treasure under that rock!"

Later, the Captain pipes in:

Treasure-hunter Captain says: "Come on boys! We got help now! We'll wipe 'em all out!"
Sullen Treasure-hunter says: "Let's get our share!"
Sullen Treasure-hunter says: "Ha ha! We'll show them what for!"
Sullen Treasure-hunter says: "Let's get our share!"

First, talk to the Treasure-Hunter Captain, who is quite pleased to have your assistance in fighting off the tomb-robbers (9.4s, 73w). After you select Continue Quest, the fight begins. When the coast is clear, double-click the Stone Marker as usual (9.3s, 73.1w).

Note that the NPCs helping Brasse and I sadly died, though this did not affect our quest outcome, since we were able to finish off the Tomb-robbers ourselves. Even better, they soon respawned and seemed oblivious that we had just minutes earlier led them to their death.

2) After you select "Finish Now", you get XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Beyond the Gloaming Falls.
