Flying the Coop - Ered Luin

General Quest

1) Examine George. George will also launch you into a Chicken Play session (32s, 74.5w). "George seems anxious." You will get 60 minutes for this session. You will have some additional skills now; be sure and check them out.

2) Talk to George. George tells you of his concerns.

3) Talk to creatures outside of the shire. George says to you:

"Speak with other animals you encounter and see if you can find anyone willing to help us in our plight."

From the quest journal:

"The Lynx-Mother is at Thrasi's Lodge in Ered Luin, north of Celondim and Duillond. George has asked you to speak to the creatures of Ered Luin. You should seek out and speak to the lynx-mother."

You should be able to cut straight east from the farmyard to the road running north out of Waymeet. Follow this road north and west through Rushock Bog to Needlehole. When you arrive at Needlehole enter the portal that will take you to Ered Luin.

Once you have crossed into Ered Luin, you will find yourself at the Eastway. Stay on the road and travel north and west towards Duillond. From Duillond you should make your way along the road north into the Haudh Lin and then west along the road to Thrasi's Lodge.

At Thrasi's Lodge you'll find the lynx-mother (21.6S, 94.2W). Once you have spoken to her you'll be able to select "Finish Now", and your Chicken Play session will end.

4) Examine George.

5) Talk to Wald Sandson. Wald tells you that George is better, but could still use some calming down, and urges you to speak with him.

6) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, and XP. You will also be able to take the remaining quests from George the rooster: Flying the Coop: Bree-land, Evendim, Lone-Lands, North Downs and Trollshaws. Good luck!

Superwimp noted: You have 60 minutes to travel via the roads from the Sandson Farm to Ered Luin. I stayed on the roads the whole time and nothing attacked me. Travel to Waymeet then at the crossroads take the road north through Roshock Bog, then Needlehole and through the gates leading to Erid Luin. Stay on the road traveling in the NW direction until you arrive at Thrashi's lounge (21.9S, 94.3 W). The Lynx mother will be on the porch. After you speak with him select finish now and your taken back to the farm. Talk to George, select the Ered Luin quest, and you receive 90 copper and 168 experience points.
