Vol. II, Book 1, Chapter 5: Handling the Situation

General Quest

Righty ho then.

Type: Epic - Vol. II, Book 1: The Walls of Moria
Starts at NPC Bósi (Walls of Moria)

Objectives: Help Bori with the task Bósi gave him
Collect thick branches (0/6)

Background: 'We had no way of knowing the Gate would be in this state, (your name here), and didn't think to bring extra pickaxes with us. Still, this area has many stout trees which should provide ample strong branches, perfect for pick-handles. We'll sharpen the metal heads ourselves and attach them to the new handles.

'I sent my son Bori to collect stones upon which we could sharpen our axes, but he has yet to bring me any. Gather branches from the bases of trees and help my son collect sufficiently sharp stones, and return to me when you have done both. Bori is probably wasting time with his friend Bróin at the stairs east of here. Those two care more for the spinning of tales than they do for working!'

Description: Bósi has tasked you with collecting the materials necessary for producing new pickaxes to replace the ones broken by the dwarves at the Hollin Gate.,

Right then. Bosi and his dwarfs have gone and broken all their pick-axes trying to clear the door that the Watcher so kindly smashed up for you. He sent his slob of a son off to get the wood for handles. However, his son is probably off drinking beer and boasting about how long his beard is with his mate. Therefore, he has asked you to take care of the wood problem yourself. Vol 2 is deeply frustrating in the way that the dwarves are portrayed as bumbling fools that couldn't find their beards with both hands. However persevere and you shall soon get massive rewards. so if you go to find the "little woodman inside" in the words of the demented actor/yodeller from Hoodwinked. The LOC co-ordinates for the branches are as follows:
51.4S, 6.0W,
51.3S, 6.1W,
50.9S, 6.1W,
50.9S, 6.2W,
50.7S, 6.0W,
51.5S, 6.3W or 51.0S, 6.6W.
The branches are hard to see but will flash when you are near them.
