General QuestLongo won't tell you what he knows about Gerebert's disappearance until you go fetch Longo's barrel of pipe-weed that he hid in a bear den.
STEPS:
1) Find the barrel of pipe-weed. You'll need to head to the Bear Den area, which is south and then east of Longo's farm (near the Great Willow in Tookland). Once there (you'll know you are there when you see tons of level 9 and 10 bears roaming all over, and you're in a bit of a ravine), The barrel is somewhat tucked away in a small rock enclosure; double-click it to pick it up (34.3s, 70.1w). As long as you are patient and pick off the bears one at a time, you will not have difficulty soloing this.
2) Bring the barrel of pipe-weed to Longo. Longo then tells you what he knows: nothing.
3) Talk to Elisia Took.
4) After you speak with her and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, Took's Shirt or 5 Fried Mushrooms, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Leaf in Woodhall.
